Masterpiece Academy Final
I have been treated as a colleague. Dr. Preston trusted us a lot throughout the whole year. I deserved his trust, it helped me get a break while other classes had a lot of work due the next day. In class I had a lot of time to do my work that also helped. I think i deserved it. I think i earned it because it was much needed and i actually tried. I honored it a lot because I actually got my work done.
Fiction has been a great impact in these semesters. We’ve read several of fiction books in this class at least i think so. I like the books we read throughout the year though. The three characters I memorized were; The Great Gatsby, Daisy, and Montag. I memorized Gatsby because he was an important character in the great gatsby. In fact he was the gatsby. I memorized Daisy because she was Gatsby’s lover. I memorized Montag because he was the main character in Fahrenheit 451. These characters were interesting to learn about.
I have connected with some things in this course. I like how Mr. Preston always had something to talk about in the beginning of the class. It was a good way to get started with the class. Other teachers won’t communicate with their students and i feel like that’s why students don’t do so well in their class. This is by far the best English class I’ve been in. I don’t take advantage of Dr. Prestons trust because he gives us time to get the work done which gives me great help to get things done on time. This class motivated me to keep learning. Know more about what’s out there. And make my path to success.
I also like how as i mentioned Dr. Preston talks before class starts and i like how the class has humor. He says some silly things that makes everyone wake up and not fall asleep like in other classes where all you here is the teacher saying blahblahblah in the background as you’re trying to get your work done. Dr. Preston even asks for any comments then there’s silly comments which makes it even better. Some presentations and Dr. Preston had said things that made me and everyone crack up. That class is just great.
I have related several times to some topics and presentations given in the class. Some can be talking about getting to success, Life experiences, Or just their vibe. But mostly in the fact that we’re all trying to find our own way to success. Which is kind of scary cause we are graduating next year then we’re going to be all on our own.
I think i am a hero to myself. In the fact that i’m always motivating myself. I keep myself from having negative thoughts. I keep myself from stressing. My tip is think about the results of when after i’m done doing it and if it’s good. I keep striving for the best. I’ve improved so much at least i feel i did this semester. I left nerve racks especially. That is probably the greatest step. I have enlightened.
